Training Program - Electrician

About the Electrician training Program

Three-year training Program completed with the Vocational Certificate.

Acquired knowledge and skills:

• PA Graduate is able to: perform, repair, and maintain home and industrial electrical wiring;
• To inspect electrical wirings and equipment;
• To measure and test various types of electrical machines, electrical appliances and specialized equipment that use electricity for their operation;
• He or she will be ready to successfully pass the special Exam for the statute 50/1978 §6, which regulates independent business in the field.

Financial support during the study period:

• This training Program is supported by the Liberec Region; the students receive a motivation stipend of 500 crowns each month (15 000 crowns in total for the whole training period). In addition, they may also receive a special merit-based stipend, paid on a half-year basis, in a total amount of 12 000 crowns over the 3-year period.
• Second and third-year students receive a reward for a productive work done, which can reach up to 1 000 crowns per month.

Other benefits during the period of study and training:

• Students are provided with basic personal and protective equipment (work clothes, work gloves, footwear);
• They are also provided with necessary tools and equipment for practical training;
• They will pass the Exam for meeting the standards of the statute 50/1978 §6;
• They participate in showrooms, lectures, and seminars offered by companies in the field, as well as in thematic exhibitions and field trips;
• They also take part in competitions to prove their knowledge and skills;
• All Instructors guiding the students in their professional training are qualified as Inspector Technicians;
• The boarding is provided at the School’s canteen, with an option of ordering food online;
• Students can find accommodation in a pleasant and well-equipped dormitory;
• The use WIFI is for free.

The length and type of training:

• After 3 years of study and training, a Graduate will receive his or her Vocational Certificate and a Leave Certificate.
• The study takes place in two weekly cycles. The week of theoretical teaching and the week of professional training alternate.
• Professional training takes place at the workshops of the School. Students in the second and third year can work on contracts directly on construction sites. While working there, they gain important experience from practical work, which enables them to master their trade in the future.
• Professional training may take place at the facilities and workshops of the affiliated companies.
